For over 40 years I have reported from all over the world and met many amazing people. Much of my work was broadcast on BBC Radio 4, Radio 5 Live, The World Service and National Public Radio in America.
I have hundreds of old tapes, reel to reel, cassettes and digital. I've blown off the dust and played some again. They are in no order but tell stories, capture events and provide insight into the past. I hope you enjoy this random selection of my work. This is my personal review and not endorsed by any broadcaster. Click here to visit my WEBSITE and IMDB

PFI Hospitals Sheffield
The Private Finance Initiative (PFI for short) was a UK government policy aimed at creating "Public Private Partnerships" where private firms were contracted to complete and manage public projects. First started in 1992 by conservative Prime Minister John Major and expanded by the Labour Blair government, PFI was part of the wider programme of privatisation and financialisation and presented as a means for increasing accountability and efficiency for public spending. In Sheffield it was hoped to use PFI to build a new women's hospital. I visited the site for BBC Radio 4 You and Yours.

Education Matters was the weekly show on BBC Radio 4 dedicated to all things education. I often reported for it over the years. Here is one such feature, a look at how students were helping councils to plan further development.
It was a great pleasure to interview civil rights campaigner Samuel Lacy in 1998.
Sam fought for integration in sport and knew it would lead to social change across America and the world. I met him twice in Baltimore. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He told of the 1920's and his struggle for equality.
